Calder Dairy is a family owned company, providing various dairy products to consumers since 1946. Located in Carleton and Lincoln Park Michigan, Calder Dairy prides themselves on non-hormone enriched cows, offering their customers with the highest quality, most healthy and best tasting dairy around.
Along with great dairy, Calder offers farm tours, special occasion baskets, home delivery, ice cream, and holiday specials. Unfortunately, Calder Dairy was unable to promote their combination of products and specials through their already outdated website. With their old website, Calder found it very difficult to update content and products; making them virtually unable to provide their users with up-to-date, necessary content that users were expecting upon visiting their site.
Their site was built with non-standard code practices, leaving them virtually useless in the world of SEO because the way search engines crawl websites, looking for specific content in specific ways. Their new site is constructed with a content management system so that they can easily add, remove or edit content without needing to struggle with understanding code to make simple text changes or page updates.
